Problem Description How to use a WELD numbering system with prefixes such as X-001, X-002 or X-0NN in AutoPLANT Modeler’s isometrics generated via OpenPlant Isometrics Manager? The following steps illustrate how to assign Weld IDs with prefixes in the isometric generated through OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Steps to Accomplish Weld numbering system with prefixes such as X-001, can be achieved, by assigning them directly in AutoPLANT Modeler. Click the "Assign WeldID's" function and input the "Starting Weld ID" to indicate the start of Weld numbering and select the pipeline. Verify the association by selecting any weld and checking the numbering system. As you can see in AutoPLANT Modeler Weld IDs are associated with the PropertyName "TAGNUMBER" which is in the OpenPlant_3D.01.06.ecschema.xml schema found in the WELD Class and is mapped to the "NAME" property. If this WELD numbering is required in the BOM then in the style's report.def file please add these lines or edit the existing "WELDID" report.
