Forum Post: RE: FROM ACESS TO SQL DBASE

I would suggest the following. 1. Take a project package of your access autoplant project. (using project packager) 2. Restore it as new project using SQL as the database, you would need to think about the mode in which you want to configure this new project, see additional considerations 3. This new project would still be in a distributed mode as your original project was in access, you would need to use the type conversion wizard in the project administrator to make it a truly central mode project. 4. Now test the new project for your deliverables before you switch the users. Other considerations. 1. Single/Multiproject mode 2. Keeping the schema in Central or distributed schema.mdb mode 3. Do you use ProjectWise integration (requires additional configurations, In this case recommeded taking assistance from bentley) 4. Keeping the Specification in SQL mode. 5. Check the settings for deliverables, especially isometric APSS5 uses OpenPlant Isometric Manager and this needs to be enabled.
