Original Author: RonnieP Overview This document describes how to enable error checking in OpenPlant PowerPID. Enable Error Checking Go to "\Bentley\PowerPID (SELECTseries 3)\PowerPID\config\appl". Open PID.CFG. Search for the following section: # Message logging level # FATAL = 0 # ERROR = -1 # WARNING = -2 # INFO = -3 # DEBUG = -1 # TRACE = -5 PID_LOG_LEVEL : -3 Set the PID_LOG_LEVEL : -3 Save and close PID.CFG. OpenPlant PowerPID will now trace and record all errors to the Message Center inside of the application.
