How to move P&ID's from one project to another?
Since Relationship Manager is not an option for P&ID drawings the option available is to Create an Exchange of the Drawing and Import into the secondary project.
Solution: Use the Create Exchange Drawing function in the P&ID-Tools > Import Export Utility.
1. Open the drawing in Project A. Create Exchange Drawing (P&ID-Tools > Import Export Utility.)
2. Open Project B in Document Manager. Right Click and select Import > Select the Exchange Drawing.
3. Open the Drawing and import the tags using Defined Tags. The drawing and data are now copied into the new project.
