OpenPlant Orthographics Manager has certain options which enable to control representation of insulation in an orthographic drawing. Steps to Accomplish Case I - Show Insulation in the output Below steps should be used to show Insulation Confirm Hidden line mode is set to “Standard” Enable “Include Insulation Thickness” as below from the settings. Generate Drawings. See below output showing insulation in the output drawing. Case II- Insulation not required to be shown in the output Currently, in Standard mode there is no option available to switch off insulation for elbows and other piping components so we will use MicroStation Dynamic View. Change Hidden line mode to “MicroStation Dynamic View” Open OpenPlant Piping model and switch off all the insulation from the model. See below for one reference. Generate output drawing.
