This error message appears because MS_DWGSEED variable points to Opimseed.dwg file rather than seed.dwg file. Please see below: This variable is defined in the isoproj.cfg file as shown below. Currently, opimseed.dwg file is used by OPIM to generate isometrics in DWG format and OpenPlant Modeler doesn’t use this file. Steps to Resolve Open the isoproj.cfg file in notepad. This file is generally resides in \\Dataset\Isomterics folder. Comment out MS_DWGSEED variable by putting # in front of the variable as shown below: Now restart OpenPlant Modeler and open the design file. Check the Variable in Workspace>Configuration. It will now point to the correct seed file. Now export the model to DWG format and there will be no error this time. NOTE: As mentioned above, opimseed.dwg file is required when you need an isometric output in DWG format. Therefore, if you need to use this variable both ways i.e. 3D Model and Isometrics output as DWG format, then you need to follow the steps given below. Use MS_DWGSEED variable in both ways Open the isoproj.cfg file again in notepad. If commented out the variable, then uncomment it and change the variable value to $(_USTN_SYSTEMROOT)seed/seed.dwg;opimseed.dwg Copy the opimseed.dwg file from any style folder ( \\Dataset\Isometrics\Styles\IFC\Config\dwgdata\ ) as shown below.
