These steps should be performed prior to installation . They incude roles the server must be configured with, privileges of domain accounts used for the installation, and certain Windows components necessary for the proper operation of ModelServer. Here are the necessary components: Windows MSMQ- For Server 2003 see the Microsoft KB article here . For Server 2008, see the article here . Windows Indexing Service- For Server 2003 see the article here . For Server 2008, see the article here . Windows Firewall- You will need to ensure port 5799 is open for broadcast, and port 5800 is open as listener. Domain Accounts- All Domain accounts used to install ProjectWise Server components should have log on as service privileges. Instructions for Server 2003 here . Instructions for Server 2008 here . Network Discovery- If ProjectWise User Synchronization service will be used to maintain active domain accounts, you must enable Network Discovery on the Integration Server.
