Thanks again Harpreet, I did fix the trailing leader issue by checking off the In-line Leader so that issue is solved. My other issue with the schema however is baffling. I proceeded to do the steps you suggested and in doing so brought up a slew of errors which ultimately led me to being unable to open the file in the end. Attached is a snapshot of the first error I received, I found this "missing reference" and copied it into the documents folder only to be alerted that another file was missing. After adding about four of these "missing" .xml files it ended with an error that disabled me from opening the file at all.
