Background As per project requirement, user need to show few components as existing element in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager using OpenPlant Modeler. In Open Plant modeler user can set the existing pipeline using ‘Demolition’ option available at ‘STATE’ property. In some cases user can show some elements as existing part of pipeline by customizing schemas and modifying the component state. Below are the steps which will guide user to segregate the fastener information in isometrics bill of material list as DESIGN and EXISTING. Steps to Accomplish In Open Plant Modeler. Select piping systems that needs to separate components for setting new scope. Right click on pipe and click on ‘Modify Component’ option. From dialog box, set the ‘component state to ‘For Demolition’. See image below. Save & close the dialog. Publish an I model and launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager and select project unit. Launch Configuration Manager dialog box and from ‘Advanced’ node option, click on ‘Report Definition’ option to open Report file. Modify report definition, for Field type by adding property COMP_STATE as shown below. Save & close report file. Using Class editor, open ‘OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.04.ecschema’. Locate the 'BOLT' & ‘GASKET’ class to edit the schema. User need to add this.STATE in item code field for both gasket & Bolts as shown in below image. It will differentiate the same material list based on STATE property added in this field. Generate Isometrics and verify results.
