If you want to create a completely new component, you will need to change the CLASS.INI, METHODS.INI and a collection of ebs file, then use the spcgenerator with this kind of new object 2. Also, if you want to use a tee for example, but with a "special" type of display, you can use the USE symbols options. In this case you have to define the directory wher the symbols reside (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\Modules\Base\piping. Please create "Symbol" folder in this location or in your project project. At once a symbol is done, you have to draw it for every diameter, because paremetric blocks are not supported. Note: The folder you mentioned is a older with bitmaps used by the menu's, nothing to do with the 3D symbols (blocks) placed in a DWG. Regards Dinesh
