In I-Model Composer you can call the batchprocessor with the keyin "mdl load batchprocess". In the scriptfile you can use the keyin command "publishdgn publish" (you may want to also set the settings available with the other keyins "publishdgn ..."). You can find automation on startup using VBA (see AskInga) You can also script and schedule to open a session with a file from windows. This will be a rather "hardcoded" approach though - if you not invest into programming something smarter... No doubt it is with good reason - I believe - that the automation services here are the solution. If you need to dynamically handle and automate tasks like this you will probably be in an environment where a lot of collaboration is the daily business - there ProjectWise gives you all benefits - and more for the designeryou are looking for. (without reinventing the wheel)
