Hi,
If you go into the schema and browse to the component class in question you will find a class attribute called 'Schematics Component Custom Attribute' on it.
this attribute has a property 'Use Predefined Points for Range, when this is set to true OPPID will use the connect points to break the line, when set to false it uses the range, or extents of the cell.
