Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Isometrics Manager Version(s): 08.11.09.417 Environment: Windows 7 64 bit Area: Open/Save Subarea: Original Author: Dinesh Solanki, Bentley Technical Support Group Error or Warning Message Explanation One of the project gives this error when trying to Initialize OPIM from inside AutoPLANT. The syspref.ini may be missing a section or project may reference a different syspref.ini than the default syspref.ini. How to Avoid Default Location Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\XCHG\ Open the syspref.ini file Look for [OPIM] section. If this exists move to the next section if it does not continue to step 4 Copy the [PCF] section and paste it to the bottom of the file Change [PCF] to [OPIM] This should correct the issue if not move to the next section Find the syspref.ini file in use for the project Find what syspref.ini is used by the project by going to the config.ini located at %Project_Name%\Config Open config.ini and find the [XChg] section (normally at the bottom of the file) The SYSPREF_Filename will give the location of the syspref.ini used by the project will be here Open the syspref.ini file Look for [OPIM] section. If this exists move to the next section if it does not continue to step 4 Copy the [PCF] section and paste it to the bottom of the file Change [PCF] to [OPIM] This should correct the issue if not move to the next section Comments or Corrections?
