If user wants to show a weld symbol for verification purpose to determine the connection the below steps should be followed. Steps to Accomplish Open class editor and load OpenPlant_3D schema. Supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling schema. Go to JOINT class in the schema and locate THREADED_JOINT in the joint map. Right click on Fastener field and select Add Element. Add Weld as shown in the Fastener [0] field. Set 'Is Fastener Spec Driven' field to FALSE. Save the changes and verify the result in OpenPlant Modeler. See Also Comments or Corrections?
