Problem Description In OpenPlant Modeler, user wanted to display only bolts for flanged connection and wanted to remove GASKETS from joints. Using schema modification user should be able to get the flanged connection without Gasket and also able to generate isometrics without it. Below are the steps user could check. This has been described in context with OpenPlant Modeler and OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Steps to Resolve In Class Editor, open “OpenPlant_3D.01.04.ecschema” and supplement it with “OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.04.ecschema”. Navigate to JOINT Class. Go to “OpenPlant_Physical_JointType_Map” custom attribute and check Joint Type [3] as “ FLANGE_JOINT ”. Expand “ Fastener ” field and right click on Fastener [1] to remove element ( This is Important ). See image below. Save and Close Schema. Launch OpenPlant Modeler, select project. Place a pipe and place a mating flange on it. Notice only BOLTS get placed. Run Connectivity Checker to test the connectivity. From pipeline Manager, create isosheet. Publish I dgn file. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager and check the results. Generate Isometrics and see information on labels and in BOM. See Also Comments or Corrections?
