In Victaulic module when two IPS pipes (AT_IPS_PIPE) are joint, following selection dialog will be show
For this case only Number 75 Flexible Victaulic IPS Joint ([#75 Vic IPS Flexible]) and Number 77 Flexible Victaulic IPS Joint ([#77 Vic IPS Flexible]) is required
Background
Joints list in in AutoPlant Joint Selection Dialog is build based on two files. JOINTS.INI (%PROJECT_ROOT%\Config\modules\) and PORTS.INI %NETWORK_ROOT%\Modules\Victalic\ or (%PROJECT_ROOT%\Config\ Modules\Victalic\). In order to suppress unwanted joint from the list, joint availability should be suppressed.
Steps to Accomplish
First and second ends of joints for [#75 Vic IPS Flexible] and [#77 Vic IPS Flexible] joints are IGM (Victaulic IPS Male Grooved End). Ports.ini file for PipePorts section should have marching data.
[PipePorts]
…………
Port1.EC = PL;IGM;BW;SCM;SWM;SDL;FP;MJM
……
……
……
Port2.EC = PL;IGM;BW;SCM;SWM;SDL;FP;MJM
……
……
……
Removing PL and BW end codes will give next AutoPlant Selection Dialog:
To suppress Number 77S Flexible Victaulic IPS Joint( [#7 Vic IPS Rigid] ) and Number 7 Rigid Victaulic IPS Joint ( [#77S Vic IPS Flexible]) comment joints names in JOINTS.INI file using semicolon.
Example:
;[#77S Vic IPS Flexible]
End1 = IGM
End2 = IGM
ReqMatch = ND ; OD
Fasteners = AT_COUP_FLEX77S_FAST
Description = Number 77S Flexible Victaulic IPS Joint
Tolerance_Variable = MAX_CLAMPEDSLOPE_TOL
As a result only required joints will be shown in dialog.
