This article will explain the procedure to upgrade the server schemas with latest interface of OpenPlant ModelServer Admin. The upgrade module will not present you with the changes anymore. Upgrade tool will automatically identify the new additions on the class and property and will sync it with server. Checklist before proceeding for the upgrade process (VERY CRITICAL): Make sure all the users have checked-in the components from their working files. No Checked-out\Referenced Out components shall be left behind in the dgn files. Working files should be checked-in to Projectwise. Take the backup of your database (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). If schemas are modified locally then update the schemas in Managed Workspace in PW Explorer. Steps to Follow Launch Projectwise Administrator. Expand 'OpenPlant ModelServer Administrator' node and select Setup Database option. Click Upgrade button and select OpenPlant_3D.01.06 schema which has been modified. It will ask to select BentleyBase.01.00 schema and you will see below message. Select OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_DBMapping.01.06 schema. Once the schemas are imported, you are good to resume the work with OpenPlant ModelServer. Note: After the upgrade process the existing working files will not be functional and it is recommended to create new working file and discard the old ones. Comments or Corrections?
