The schemas must be imported and a few workflows must be defined. These steps are detailed below. Importing the Schema 1. Expand the Datasource and the OpenPlant Administrator node. 2. Select the Project setup tool and choose Import Schema 3. Browse to the location of the primary OpenPlant schema for the workspace in the project of your desired units. A standard path looks something like this: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\OPModeler_Imperial\DataSet\Schemas 4. Select the OpenPlant_3D.01.01.ecschema.xml and press Open. 5. You will be prompted to select the BentleyBase.01.00 schema, this is located in the OpenPlant workspace files at the following location: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\OPModeler\schemas 6. Select the schema and press Open. The schemas will begin to process. It may take an hour or more to complete the process. Populating the Database A few data items need to be defined for Modeler to function properly with OpenPlant workflows. These are defined in ProjectWise Administrator at %ServerName%>%DatasourceName%>OpenPlant Administrator>Populate Database. Please refer to the screen captures below for the proper values per unit type.
