Steps to Follow AutoPLANT report generator should show component description in the AutoPLANT reports. However, when using AutoPLANT Piping 08.11.09.210 (64 bit) component descriptions comes as blank. See below image. Resolution: 1. Uninstall AutoPLANT Piping using control panel. Also, make sure below folders are deleted after the uninstallation of AutoPLANT - C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i - C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i - C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Bentley Shared\Plant V8i Note: Make sure to backup of any customized files. 2. Download the Microsoft Access Database Engine via below link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=c06b8369-60dd-4b64-a44b- 84b371ede16d&displaylang=en 3. Perform a silent install of Microsoft Access Database Engine using steps below - Open regedit.exe and check “mso.dll” does not exist at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\FilesPaths" - Enter the path to AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe in the command prompt and run as Passive. See below one example - Again, open REGEDIT and rename “mso.dll” at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\FilesPaths" 4. Reinstall AutoPLANT and generate reports see below report showing correct component description Please note above steps are provided considering AutoPLANT is already installed with Microsoft office 32 bit on a 64 bit machine. In case of a new installation please follow below steps. A. Install Microsoft office 32 bit B. Install Microsoft Access Database Engine 64 C. Install AutoPLANT
