What is New in OpenPlant PID V8 i (SELECTseries 5) V08.11.10 What is New? The Bentley OpenPlant PID V8 i (SELECTseries 5) release is the latest release of our newest Intelligent P&ID Solution. OpenPlant PID is an Open and interoperable P&ID product based on ISO 15926 that allows any application using the open schema to natively share data. OpenPlant PID is a productive and easy to use application for production of P&IDs allowing users to capture and reuse information in an open format. It reduces the time required for design and documentation of facilities and captures process information for system design, plant studies and HAZOP studies across the lifecycle of the asset. Key Features of Bentley OpenPlant PID V8 i (SELECTseries 5) Easy to Use Drafting Features Advanced Drafting Features such as Parametric Equipment and Assembly Management Support for Specification Driven P&IDs Consistency Checking and Component Validation Design History feature to allow users to save versions or revisions of documents and compare them or roll-back if necessary. Reports viewable as CAD reports, a grid view in the application, or in Crystal Reports Item Browser for full access to all data and relationships in the drawing Integrated Class Editor for schema modifications/additions. Added Spec Generator.
