Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Modeler Version(s): 08.11.09.XXX Environment: Windows 7 64 bit Area: Component Subarea: Graphics Original Author: Harpreet Singh, Bentley Technical Support Group Background By default in OpenPlant Modeler, there is no tool for Angle Check Valve. There are some steps involved for placement of ANGLE_CHECK_VALVE which are explained below. Steps to Accomplish Launch class editor and load OpenPlant_3D schema. Supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling schema. Go to ANGLE_VALVE class and copy the value defined in table field of OpenPlant_Physical_Catalogue_Class_Map as shown below: Note: This step is required because ANGLE_CHECK_VALVE has it's own mapping custom attribute and there only VALVE table is mapped but you may add this component in any of the above given tables. Paste this value in the same field on ANGLE_CHECK_VALVE class. Save the changes. Verify the Result Launch OPM and open a model. Create a pipeline with 200mm Diameter and mEX-OPM spec. Place a pipe and flange on it's end. Go to Utilities>Key In and key-in the command mechaddin place ANGLE_CHECK_VALVE dsc=piping Place the valve on the flange. Comments or Corrections? Bentley's Technical Support Group requests that you please confine any comments you have on this Wiki entry to this "Comments or Corrections?" section. THANK YOU!
