Background To create annotation for multiple properties for class using EC annotation. User could be able to define the fields using Annotation manager. Below steps will discuss about creating new cell, assign multiple properties for annotation etc. Steps to Accomplish Launch OpenPlant Modeler & select Drawing Composition Tab. Launch the Annotation Manager as shown in below image. Note – Please be sure the drawing activities in the model has been checked in/saved in order to avoid any losses in drawing. It will open ECAnnotation.cel file for further working. Annotation manger will get launched. In the Annotation Manager, create a new Model and set the type user want to include and assign a name. Select the Class in which annotation will apply to in the Item and select the ‘Place Text’ icon shown on right side of dialog box. Select ’Insert field’ option in the word processor dialog. In the Fields Editor, Select the number of fields say, Description, Rating, and Specification here each time and define it in Text Editor. For Description Property For Rating Property: For Specification Property: Below are the selected fields look like in Text Editor. Close the text editor once it will get finalized. It will returned to the original model and annotation will available to place from the annotation manager. See results below.
