Harpreet, There is another way to do this. In the Default Value field enter in GetMaximumValue. Set the Format String Field as desired {0:D3} When placing a pipeline the initial default number will be 001. If the user types in 100 for the when placing the first line, then the next line placed will automatically increment to 101. The next line placed after that would be 102 and so on. The only caveat is that the first "base" number (100 in this case) needs to be manually entered on the Pipeline in order for the proper number sequence to be enforced. Tony DeRosa Bentley Plant
