Background Support tags are very important in piping at the time of field erection and it plays a vital role. During the time of modeling these tags has been defined by modeler in any of the modelling products. To facilitate the same in Open Plant isometrics Manager, it is important to retrieve into the drawing as labels on pipeline as well as in Open Plant Isometrics Manager BOM/BOQ. Steps to Accomplish Below are the steps to achieve AutoPlant Pipe Support Tag labels in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Assign tags in Support dialog box. See image below. Check the TAG field name ‘TAGNUMBER’ to be mapped in Schema. See image below. In Class editor, navigate to project location and select “OpenPlant_3D.01.04.ecschema.xml”. Supplement ‘openPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.04.ecschema’. Expand Class and select ‘Support’ class. Add new property ‘ TAG_CODE ’ to it. Add Custom attribute ‘ AutoPLANT_PDW_Property_Map ’ on ‘ TAG_CODE ’ property to map AutoPlant property with OpenPlant property. See image below. Set Schema location as’ OpenPlant_3D.01.04. -ecschema .xml’. Go to Parent class ‘Plant Base Object’ and add the attribute as mentioned in below image. Save and close schema. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Click on configuration button. See image below. Under ‘User Label’ tag Enter the data with steps 1,2,3, as shown in image below. Assign all the value of component attribute. Selection of the expression IE_TYPE should be done carefully to get it appears in isometrics. Save and close Configuration Manager. Generate isometrics to get the labels on isometrics drawing. To Label it in OpenPlant Isometrics BOM, user need to customize report definition file.( OPTIONAL) Go to project location, C:\%Project Root%\Isometrics\styles\IFC\config\report.def. Add TAG_CODE to report. See image below. Save and close files and generate isometrics to verify results.
