Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Isometrics Manager Version(s): 08.11.09.XXX Environment: Windows 7 64 bit Area: Settings/Attributes Subarea: Original Author: Rahul Kumar, Bentley Technical Support Group Overview During isometrics generation in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, mentioned error coming due to missing cell file is most common. To avoid this, user need to add the types in cell template file present in Isometrics folder. Problem Description Error produced during isometrics generation with AutoPLANT Modeler is most common with this end type detail. However with OpenPlant modeler there might be certain types where such issue occurs. The message displays as ‘Error[5]Cell not found in libraries: GATSW_FT’. Below are the steps to fix this issue. Steps to Resolve Launch OpenPlant isometrics Manager. Click on Configuration button. From ‘Advance’ node select ‘Open Seed File’ option. See image below. From Main Menu, go to ‘IsoExtractor’> ‘Cell Creation Tool’. Click on ‘Open Template File’ Option and select ‘Valves’ DGN file and click on ‘Open’. See image below. Note - OpenPlant Isometrics Manager is delivered with template files for use when creating new cells. The template files are located in the …\OPIM\Cell Templates folder of the OpenPlant Isometrics Manager workspace. Check the existing End type connections and Copy it under the same table. Note- It is good practice to make a backup of the template file before making changes. For type GATSW_FT, modify the end types for SW(Socket Weld) and FT (Female Threaded). Rename the Description and cell name as GATSW_FT. Also modify the end connection for FT. See image below. With modified symbol in table, ensure correct connection point and Fence it from task bar. Also define the changes in custom.cel file, See below images for few customization: Note - It is good practice to save the new symbol to Custom.cel to differentiate it from default file. Save settings and close the seed file. Generate Isometrics and verify results.
