This article will explain the procedure to restrict the auto-filling of units in EC properties. NOMINAL_PRESSURE property on PIPING_NETWORK_SYSTEM will be used as an example for this article. Steps to Accomplish Open Class editor and load OpenPlant.01.04 schema from Workspace\OPPowerPID\Schemas folder. Right click on OpenPlant schema and select Supplement Schema.. option and select OpenPlant_Supplemental_Units_Metric schema. Go to PIPING_NETWORK_SYSTEM class and switch to properties tab and locate the NOMINAL_PRESSURE property. Right click on the property and select Remove Units option. Once the units are removed from this property you won't see the Units tab in the lower section for that particular property. Save the changes in schema. Verify the Result Launch OpenPlant PID and open a drawing. Select the Major Pipeline tool from Piping Task. In the placement dialog, key-in any value in Nominal Pressure property, you will see that Units are not populated. Comments or Corrections? Bentley's Technical Support Group requests that you please confine any comments you have on this Wiki entry to this "Comments or Corrections?" section. THANK YOU!
