Forum Post: ism.dgn imported by Frameworks and PDS Intergraph

Hi All,

I'm new here, and not quite sure if this is the forum to post the following inquire:

I have a structure in ism.dgn format (SYNCHRONIZER, STAAD-PRO), and I need to load it from Frameworks (intergraph)

I have tried this without any success.

I even used autocad as format converter, however,

Autocad loads the ism.dgn transforming all the columns and beams as independent blocks,

so when exporting from Autocad to -----> Frameworks using the DGN-export-format of autocad,

then Frameworks does not import those columns and beams as intelligent elements (objects) with their tags, but just as simple lines (just a frame of the structure).

Does anyone here know how to read ism.dgn format from Frameworks (microstation) Intergraph, so to get the structure conformed

by intelligent elements (objects with tags).
