AutoPLANT Plant Design (Imperial) Virtual Classroom, United States Mar. 09-12, 2015: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EDT (32 hours total) Dennis Roberts This course is designed for the piping designer or drafter new to the AutoPLANT 3D Plant Design applications. Using the Administrator utility the student first creates a new project to collect design data from the Equipment and Piping models. An introduction to specifications gives the student a basic understanding of how specs are generated and edited. Using AutoPLANT Equipment, the student defines a work area to include reference drawings used during placement of vessels and pumps. Once the equipment is in place the student uses AutoPLANT Piping to route a complex system of pipe. Once the model is complete, deliverables including fully dimensioned and annotated plans and sections are produced. Import/Export utilities are used to create isometric drawings from exported line data to the ISOGEN interface.
