Users sometimes need to turn off the annotations but since by default all the annotations go into default level therefore it is not possible to turn off the annotations for only valves. Steps to Accomplish Open PIDProjectTemplates.dgnlib file in OPPID. Create a new level from level manager and name it Valve Annotation. Please see the picture below: Go to Element>Element Templates. Right click on PIDProjectTemplates.dgnlib node and add Template group. Name it as Annotation. Now right click on Annotation node and create new Template and name it as Valve_Text. Set the level to 'Valve Annotation' which we created in step 2. Now go to the DGN file in OPPID. In DGN file, go to Element>Element Templates and select 'Update Templates from Libraries' option under Utilities menu. Open Class Editor and load OpenPlant_PID.01.04 schema. Supplement it with OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental_Imperial.01.04 schema. Go to Valve Class and switch to properties tab. Select the NAME property and click Override button. On Annotation Custom Attribute, add the Element Template as shown in the picture below: Save the changes in schema and restart OPPID. Place any valve on the pipeline. Go to level display and turn off the Valve Annotation level which will turn the valve annotation off. Comments or Corrections?
