Forum Post: RE: AutoPLANT Error! It won't start. 'unable to read the AT.INI file

The history of installs are: AutoCAD 2011 with SS3 (version 8.11.8.123) AutoCAD 2011 with SS4 (version 8.11.9.140) AutoCAD 2012 with SS4 --> This is when it stopped working. Both versions of AutoCAD were installed at the same time. Now only AutoCAD 2012 is installed. I attempted your suggested fix with no success. I have basically completely removed AutoCAD and AutoPlant, deleted all those directories, and reinstalled. As well, I tried to uninstall SS4 and install SS3. Same error. None of the other included programs work (Data Manager, Document Manager, any of the Project Tools) I tried the suggestion to remove the registry entries manually and reinstall. Same error. I dug into the LISP that looks for the "at.ini" file, C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\Support\AT_START.lsp (line 80): (if (null (findfile (at_Sys_getCfgName "at.ini"))) It appears that the directory where "at.ini" is stored cannot be found. (C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\CFG\at.ini) I am not sure what the function/variable "at_Sys_getCfgName" is used for.
