Purpose : Create new run break class and component. This is a Surface Location Break that will split a run and flag it as AG (Above Ground) or BG (Below Ground). Requested by or related to : Working with PIP standard this is a new component type needed. I have had similar request from other users but not in the context of the PIP standard. This will also serve as a template on how to use the new “Property Break” component. Brief Description : See the attached How To Document “HowToCreateSurfaceLocationBreak_V1.pdf. This defines the process of creating a new class and component that when placed on a run, will prompt the user to set the “Surface Location” property to a new value. It will place the “break” symbol, add the text for the Surface Location property. When deleted it will prompt the user to select a run to keep and then adjust the Surface Location property to new chosen value on the resulting run. I hope this is helpful, Tony DeRosa Bentley Plant
