Applies To Product(s): AutoPLANT Piping Version(s): N/A Environment: N/A Area: Database Subarea: SQL Original Author: Artiom Jakubovic, Bentley Technical Support Group Background Below procedure should be used in order to change AutoPlant project's SQL database location from one SQL server to another. Steps to Accomplish Make sure everyone is out of the AutoPLANT project. Create a duplicate of current SQL database on a new SQL Server. Add a SQL user account that has DBOWNER privileges. Open Project Administrator and Go to Project Name Database Databases Select PROJDATA database from the list and select "Modify". Select "Yes" in Project Database Properties warning message In the Data Link Properties dialog under Connection tab define new SQL server name and log on information. Make sure the option "allow saving password" is checked. Select new SQL database on the server and test the connection. Select OK and then save changes in Project Administrator Open Project location folder Project Name \ Projdata Open Projdata.adp and relink file to correct database Access go to File Info Server Connection and change Data Link as required.
